In the garden, poppies are an attractive, easy to grow flower. They prefer full sun to partial shade and they will grow well in many types of soils.The kit includes 10 different types of poppy, each packet containing between100-150 seeds of each poppy, for a total of 10 000 - 15 000 seeds.

• Black Swan Poppy | Papaver somniferum
Black Swan Poppy is a unique peony-type flower, with frilly deep burgundy petals.  Absolutely stunning from the minute they start to unfurl, attracting bees and beneficial pollinators.

• Bridal Silk Poppy | Papaver rhoeas

• California Poppy | Eschscholzia californica

• Giganthemum Poppy | Papaver somniferum
The very largest poppy flower,  followed by the very largest seed heads.  The seed head of  Giganthemum poppy is the size of a baseball! The massive flower stems grow 90-120 cm (36-48″) tall, topped by flowers around 10cm (4″) across.

• Hungarian Blue Poppy | Papaver somniferum
Stunning lavender petals are a true sight to behold, making them a must-have for any flower enthusiast. Blooms measure 8 cm/3" across. 

• Iceland Poppy | Papaver nudicaule
This beautiful poppy will bloom in apricot, pink, yellow, orange, white and cream. The blooms measure 2-4 inches in width and have a texture like crepe paper. They make an excellent cut flower.

• Oriental Poppy | Papaver orientale
Oriental poppies are large and stunning! Semi-double poppies bloom in red, white, raspberry and deep pink. Plants grow to 36 in. tall & bloom in May and June.

• Pandora Poppy | Papaver rhoeas
Deep shades of burgundy-red to pinkish-red, Pandora Poppy blooms from early to mid summer. Packet includes 100 seeds.

• Shirley Poppy | Papaver nudicaule
Large, crinkled single and double poppies, Shirley Poppy blooms in shades of salmon, scarlet, pink, and white.
