Stevia is a sweetener and natural sugar substitute extracted from the leaves of the plant. Stevia has no calories, and it is 200 times sweeter than sugar in the same concentration. It's a great alternative to sweeten a variety of foods and beverages.  In Paraguay and Brazil, people have used leaves from the stevia bush to sweeten food for hundreds of years.  In traditional medicine in these regions, stevia also served as a treatment for burns, colic & stomach problems.  Packet includes 50 seeds.
